Not much to report, but I've been off for a few days. I had a couple of midterms and now I'm trying to test out of Algebra so I don't have to waste precious time taking classes I took back in Middle School. You'd think if I took Calc III, it would come with an automatic algebra waiver. Ugh. Anyway, school is tiring, but good too.
Today, Jenn and I went to Ben Franklin with the kids. At one point, Cam pushed the cart up to Jenn and said "I'm shopping so I can boss the kids around." Hahahaha!!
Mr. Kevin came and finished the fence, I gave Jeff one of his birthday presents early (The feather bed) and now I think I will go sleep in it.
Oh yea, a church lady called me at 9:30 pm and asked if I could come in to church in the morning and help stuff some envelopes. Here's a short transcript:
Church Lady: could you come in tomorrow morning and fill envelopes?
Me: Well, I would love to help, but I have to work.
CL: Oh, uh... Wednesday morning?
Me: Yes, I work in the morning
CL: Oh, well so Wednesdays aren't good for you?
Me: No, I work.
CL: Oh. I see. So you couldn't help tomorrow then?
Me: No, I work full time. I work every day. I go in at 6:00 and I work all day, then I go to school and take a full load too. This week is midterm week for me so I'm also taking tests and writing papers. I also have two kids and at the end of the day, I do more work to get some overtime in. I'm more than happy to help the church stuff envelopes, but I really can't skip out on work to do that when we are busy designing a new airplane that you might fly on someday.
CL: Oh. Okay, then.. So, you can't help tomorrow morning? It's a Wednesday?
Me: No.
CL: Oh, I had no idea you did all of that! Someone just gave me this list, but I'll take you off of it.
Me: Okay, but don't hesitate to ask me to help, just not during working hours.
