We quickly drove to Argentina and turned around and came back. There's nothing quick about crossing the borders though. Going into Argentina was harder than returning to Chile. There were probably 5 different check points getting into Argentina. The funniest though, was when were at one of them and they made us get out of the car and they went through all of our stuff. When they decided we were okay, they gave us a stamped piece of paper and said we would need it at the next check point. We all piled back in to the car and drove about 8 feet before a guard stepped out of the same little shack the other guards were in and told us to stop. Turns out, he was the next check point. Not sure why that couldn't have been combined into one, but thankfully it was the last. We had so many stamps on our papers that I had to take a picture since they take the paper away from you when you return to Chile. The pictures are washed out because I was the photographer from the backseat of the car. All of these were from our trip back into Chile. The Chilean guards were much more personable and fun to talk with!
