Shortly after we moved to this new house, Cam came up to me and said he had found a frog outside. I didn't believe him at first, but he insisted, so I grabbed my camera and went looking. Sure enough, there it was! He was bright green and looked like he belonged in a rain forest rather than my own back yard. I haven't seen any frogs like that since that day, but the I can hear them at night.
** I went and looked up frogs in WA. Looks like it was a Pacific Treefrog which is funny because the site also says they live on the ground. Why not a Groundfrog? Too close to Groundhog?

We have frogs all over our yard, sometimes it sounds like a symphony outside at night. I love it. The sounds is relaxing. But the bad news is sometimes they do not move out of the way of the lawnmower.
