Cam's first day of school

Cam started preschool today! Here is a picture I made him sit for this morning.

He had a really great time and cried when I picked him up because he wanted to stay. That's always a good sign. I wasn't too worried though because he is such a confident, outgoing kid. When we arrived, he took off with the other kids and I had to track him down to get my hug and kiss. The teacher writes up a little form each day and said he did well, had fun, followed directions and got mad a couple of times when he didn't get his way. Sounds like Cam to me!

I haven't blogged in a while and a lot has happened. We found out about an organization called Tiny Stars who help expose brothels that use children as prostitutes and the men who come from the US to abuse those kids. We are going to be involved helping with that and our first trip is to Tijuana over Labor Day weekend. I want to focus on helping the kids here in WA after they are freed. I don't know much about that part yet, but I'm hoping to learn a lot next month. Mom is going to donate her profits from Stampin Up sales to Tiny Stars so we are going to work on getting her sales up.

Cam had his hair cut on Sunday as you can probably see from his picture. Friday and Saturday, the kids and went to Fish Lake with my parents to camp and fish on Dad's boat. Unfortunately it was really windy so it made for poor fishing and boating. I did catch one fish, but he was small so we let him go.

Paige is still using the toilet on occasion, but only if she wants to.

Last week, Mom was here most of the week to play with us and help watch the kids when I had to be at work. We had fun using her blender to try some new dinners, we went to the fabric store, and rested a lot. The kids enjoyed having her here.
