Paigie-poo is two!

Paige turned two yesterday! It's hard to believe since it seems only a few months ago that she was born. She is such a wonderful part of our family, we just adore her! Grandma and Great grandma gave her that wonderful bistro table, Grandma and Papa gave her a doll with cute blonde braids. Cammy gave her a black horse big enough for 18" dolls (maybe someday she will have an American Girl doll - we'll see), and Jeff and I gave her a doll stroller, a Mrs. Potato head and a brand new big girl bed. I'm especially excited about the bed because I got a really great deal on the last one at Costco and it's very pretty and will match her room. I'll attach a picture from the manufacturer's website since hers is still in pieces. Earlier in the day, Ana, Aiden, Liam, Sarah, Nathaniel and Sam came over to celebrate. Liam and Nathaniel are friends of Paige's from the July 2004 play group, Aiden is almost exactly Cam's age - only a few days apart- and Sam is Nathaniel's baby brother. We like to get together with Chelsea and her little Gillianne and Gilli's brothers sometimes. The kids all had a great time playing and I think it exhausted Cam because he fell asleep right in the middle of dinner. Jeff and I watched him nod out and Jeff snapped a couple of photos.

Paigie's new bed:
The bottom can be a trundle bed or a storage drawer. For now, hers will be storage.

Jeff has another wedding today that he is shooting with Susie and tomorrow we will have dinner with the kids' grandma and great grandma to celebrate Bink's birthday. I'm going to try one more time to perfect Paige's Dora cake. I've had two unsuccessful attempts so far. Good thing I'm not going into business making cakes.

Patty had surgery on wednesday to remove something on her thyroid. Thankfully, it was very successful and the doctor is pretty sure it is benign. They sent it off for testing, but the doctor is quite optimistic.

Jenn is still in the hospital because of her collapsed lung. I forget what I have posted in the back, but poor poor Jenn had to have a chest tube inserted to release air around her lung so it could reinflate. I cannot imagine how awful that must have felt! I hope she is better very quickly.
