Cam is a good big brother

A couple of days ago, I was trying to get the kids ready to go out to the store. I helped Paige find her coat and put it on her and then left to find my purse. I came back to find Cam kneeling in front of her, carefully buttoning each button on her coat. She was standing there, patiently watching him. It was just so incredibly sweet! Then, we went in the garage and Cam opened Paige's car door and said "There you go ma'am." and when she had trouble climbing up, he said "I'll help you" and he boosted her into the car. She climbed into her seat and Cam climbed up and buckled her car seat seat belt! He is sooo sweet. I just love him!!

This morning, we put bubbles in the bath tub again and Cam turned on the jets and made foam.

Pictures tomorrow. Paige is awake. Gotta go.

Oh, I am so far behind

Okay, this will be a big catch up post. I've been taking pictures thinking I would blog them and then I forget, so here we go!

Yesterday morning, Cam got up before I did and told me he was going downstairs to make me a surprise. A little later, he came back and told me it was ready, so we all went downstairs. Cam had put out four plates with raisins and some pretzels and then had written each of our names on paper and cut them out and put them on the plates. Cam is so incredibly sweet! I had to take pictures:

Another day this week, Jeff and Cam built a really great fort in our living room. Jeff has big clips that he uses in his studio that double as blanket holders. The kids loved it and left it up for a couple of days. They put pillows inside it and it quickly became Paige's favorite place to read.

Another day, Cam asked if his dad would make lemonade with him out of some lemons that Susie and Paul had brought. Susie and Paul brought the lemons to make Pisco Sours - Chile's national drink and OH SO yummy. But, that's off the subject. Jeff, Cam and Paige made lemonade and then tried it out.

Cam climbs. He has always been a climber. The higher he can get, the better. Here's a recent trek up Mt. Couch.

Here is Paige on that same couch. I'm not sure how she ended up like this, but it made me laugh so I took a picture. She must have been really tired!
Speaking of sleeping Paige, here she is at it again.
Here are the kids playing on the deck in the snow. They had fun making tracks and finding icicles.

And, finally, the snails are at it again. This is the second set of eggs. I am happy to report that they didn't survive. It's good because I can't provide for 200 baby snails. Here is one snail caught in the act of laying eggs.
Yesterday, we went to the Everett Children's Museum and saw Santa, some of his reindeer and played with the things they have inside. It's really a great place for kids. Paige was very excited to see Santa and when it was finally her turn and I set her down, she RAN to him and climbed right up in his lap.

Two weeks until Christmas! YAY!

lots of work

So, I'm behind again, but I'm trying. I've had a ton of work to do lately so I've been focusing on that. The snails laid eggs again and I took a picture, so I'll post that. It's gross. I have to figure out what to do about that. Paige and Cam are doing well. They are cute :)

Okay, good night.
