Pictures from this week

Cam and I decided to start doing some science experiments. The first was to put white flowers in colored water. I must have picked the wrong kind of flower though, because 3 days later, they are still white. I'll have to get some carnations. The store I went to only had these flowers and some roses. Update later.

Paige has been drawing faces for several weeks now, but I finally took a picture of one. I'm pretty impressed that a 2 1/2 year old can draw a circle with a face in it! She draws these all the time. They are totally cute!

Yesterday, Cam tied a long string between two chairs and called it a tight rope. Then he used his 'action fingers' to walk on the tightrope. Those are my flip flops he's wearing!

While not too flattering to me, here is a picture of Binks and me sleeping yesterday. Poor Paige has an awful cold and she conked out pretty hard.

Cam did this to himself. Then he was annoyed that I wanted to take a picture of it, but I just had to. It reminds me of a time when Jeff's mom put scotch tape over Jeff's mouth because he was talking too much :) Cam talks a lot. Pretty much all the time, so this was comical.

Cam gets eye drops

Cam's doctor discovered an issue with Cam's eyes. He has one eye that works very well, but his other eye isn't as strong and as time goes on, it keeps getting weaker. To correct it, the doctor gave him eye drops to put in the good eye to make it all blurry so the weak eye will have to start working. We'll have him rechecked in April. The drops make his good eye dilate really big so he looks like he's had a concussion. One normal pupil and one huge one. I tried to take a picture, but I didn't have the good camera and all I get are big red eye shots. I'll try tomorrow.

Mom and Dad came over. Dad officiated a wedding that Jeff was photographing down at Salish Lodge.

Ooh, I mentioned to Dad that we are going to Greece and Ephesus, Turkey this summer and he said he wanted to go too! I'm totally excited. Dad has never been to Europe - he has never even had a passport. It should be a blast. Originally, we were going to rent a sailboat and let Dad be captain since he is the only one who knows how to sail, but we decided to save that for another trip. I'm excited to see the places Paul traveled to in Turkey and Greece and see Patmos where John wrote his Gospel as well as the Book of Revelations. This will be a very special trip for me to share with Dad.

Snow day

Here are some pictures of Thursday morning after it snowed all night. The kids and the dogs loved it! Cam played outside all day
